Authorization object for Movement type material typewise

Dear Experts, We are facing one issue here. We want to a SAP user for doing Material Movement(261) for special material type. Other material he can do this goods movement. But I cannot found an authorization object for it. Can anybody help me to resolve the issue ? Asad

There is no such restriction to a material type for movement type authorization.

From this point of view the security forum should have been the right place in case you need to extend/enhance/modify authorization settings.

Hello Adad,

First check SU24 proposal check YES objects for that T-code.

If any of the object has BWART field in it, then it will control the authorization of movement type.

If  you do not find the object in SU24 which contains BWART field suggest you to take ST01 trace for user while performing that function.

You will get relevant authorization in it for movement type.
