TI ODBC 32 bit connectivity with SAP Data Services

Hi ,

We have one requirement to connect to the Trade Finance system and extract the data  and loading into the Sybase IQ.

Here Trade Finance system is Mysis application and running on Windows 2008 64 bit operating system with backend database DB2 10.5.

Trade Finance system has its own 32 bit ODBC driver TI ODBC. It doesn't have 64 bit ODBC driver. I can connect to the backend DB2 database with DB2 odbc drivers  but table metadata is different from the TI ODBC.  If they connect with TI ODBC they can get the table description instead of table name. If we connect through DB2 odbc  we can get only table names but not descriptions.  But client requires table descriptions not the table names.

Normal ODBC driver, We can see the tables Like below

TI ODBC driver, We can see the tables Like below

We are using the SAP DS 4.2 SP2 version on Windows 2008 R2 OS.

Is there any possible to connect 32 bit drivers through SAP DS.

Please guide us to solve this issue.

Thanks & Regards,

Ramana.

no, you might be able to use it with 32-bit Designer on 4.2 SP2 but will not be able to run any jobs, since job server is 64 bit

check if a JDBC Driver is also available. If yes, then you can use DS 4.2 SP04 or higher to use JDBC Adapter to read the data. The JDBC Adapter currently only supports reading data
