SAP BOBJ 4.1 Dashboard strategies

We are beginning to implement dashboard reporting in our organization and wondering if there are any

general reporting strategy that companies follow? Is there any document or links that experts can point out

which will be helpful to us? The DOs and DONTs kind of thing.
