Problems with MaxDB database manager operator in "SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP 7.02 SP6 64-bit Trial"

Hi,

I have installed SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP 7.02 SP6 64-bit Trial with MaxDB when i open database manager and add a server (NSP) it is asked for user name password when i input username:- "control"  and password : Masterpassword then it gives error " -2 ERR_USRFAIL : User Authorization failed "  can any one tell me what is the solution of this problem.

Hello Ritu,

did this Trial version contain a documentation which shows how the settings, including the database manager, should / have been configured?

The goal of this question is to see whether there is a different pre-set password, or you have provided the password earlier, and now this "custom" password is incorrect.

yes this trial version contain documentation i also went through it but didn't find any information from that.

             I just only want to know can i reset my master password through OS level or DB level , if yes kindly suggest.
