Hi Everybody,
I have a small issue regarding LOD( Loss on Drying)
LOD test specification limit is NMT 1.0%
Below mentioned procedure following for completing the test
0010-Empty LOD Bottle weight = w1 = 10.0123 g (SAMPLE01)
0020-Empty LOD Bottle weight+ sample = w2 =11.0125 g (SAMPLE01)
0030-After Drying 1 st = w3 = 11.0073 g (SAMPLE04)
0030-After Drying 2 nd = w4 = 11.0063 g
0030-After Drying 3 rd = w5 = 11.0057 g
0030-After Drying 4 th = w6 = 11.0053 g
0040-Final weight = wf = 11.0053 g (SAMPLE01)
(If w3-w4 or w4-w5 or w5-w6 ...............>0.0005 g , then we want to repeat the testing up to w4-w5 or w5-w6 ................<0.0005 g, whenever the difference between the consecutive weights of character 0030 below 0.0005 g then that final weight considered as wf)
0050-LOD (in % w/w) = (w2-wf)*100/(w2-w1) = (C0020-C0040)*100/(C0020-C0010) (SAMPLE01)
= 0.0052*100/1.0002
= 0.7198
please suggest formula for fixing the character 0040.

Hi,
If you want to calculate the value of 0040 final weight based on the values entered 0010,0020 and 0030
then create 0010 (W1), 0020(W2) and 0030(W3) as MIC's and in the control indicators of MIC 0040 (wf) activate calculated characteristic indicator.
In the inspection plan assign the MIC's in the sequential manner and when you assign the MIC 0040 maintain the relevant formula.
Once you make the above setting, when the user make RR for 0010, 0020,0030 MIC's value of 0040 will be calculated automatically by the system based on the values entered for 0010, 0020,0030
Hope this helps
Thanks
Kumar
