Hi Bo Gurus,
I am facing an issue in the universe designing in IDT.
The backend is Oracle.
I have 4 tables in the universe
Individual_profile,individual_name_address, individual_promotion_hist,ref_campaign_product.
For the first 3 tables(Individual_profile,individual_name_address, individual_promotion_hist) Ctrl_num is the common filed and I made join to the eache table using ctrl_num.
But In the ref_campaign_product and in the individual_promotion_hist I have the common files is cp_cd.
So I joned 3 and 4 the table by using cp_cd.
But the issue I am facing here is If I create a report with using only first 3 tables, the query is returning 196 records only,If I used Description object from the 4 th table ref_campaign_product the query returning 1200 records which returning duplicates.
What the mistake I am doing here.
Earlier reply would be really help ful to me it is an urgent requirement.
Regards,
Mahesh
Hi Mahesh,
Please make sure that there are no duplicate rows in the tables, and if that's not the issue then, you may have a Chase/Fan trap and as a result of that the results are blowing up.
