BI Workbook Migration - Table to find whether a workbook is migrated

Former Member

Hi,

We are migrating workbooks from BW 3.5 to BI 7.0 version.

Just like RSZCOMPDIR table, where we can check whether the query is migrated.

Do we have any table to find whether the workbook is migrated or not.

Thanks in advance,

Avinash.

Thanks for reply Raman & SVU 123,

Off course we have a field version in the table RSZCOMPDIR.

But we don't have the filed for Workbook ID.

The above screenshot is for COMPID (Query ID).

Thanks for your help in advance,

Avinash.

Hi Avinash,

After your query migration to 7.x, Have you opened migrated query from work book and saved?

if yes then  your workbook will be migrated automatically.

Older version no longer available.

Thanks

Hi Avinash,

The way is that you cannot open the migrated workbooks with BEx Analyzer 3.x anymore.

Hi Avinash,

You can use above table - RSZCOMPDIR and check Version >100 then those workbooks or query was migrated to 7.x.

if version is less than 100 then that will be in 3.x version.

Thanks

7.x workbooks are in table RSRWBINDEX(T)

Not sure if the 3.X are also in that table though

Thanks for your reply.

But my point is to know whether the workbook is migrated or not.

Thanks in advance,

Avinash.
