997 Functional Acknowledgement for Inbound

Hi Experts,

We have came across a requirement where functional team is asking for sending a 997 acknowledgment for inbound maps(850,846 etc).

Logically if I think, it is not possible but I am not sure about this.

Please suggest from your end.

HI .

You can send 997 for your inbound 850/846.

to achieve this.

1. Your sender channel + in EDI Separater Receiver CC you need to enable the 997 as mentioned below.

2. you need to create one more ICO .  EDI Separater  sender  to your receiver channel . in your EDI Separater  sender CC you need to maintain EDI Partner ID in  " interchange receiver    ID Qualifirer " parameter. as mentioned below.

note: sending 997 back to customer is a standard procedure, so no mapping require, just pass-through.

Thanks for your response.

I enabled it in the channel as you told, but didn't created the flow.

For outbound maps like 810, we are sending 997 for which already we are creating a 997 flow -

1) AS2 --->Dummy flow -->EDISeparater Receiver

2) EDISeparater  --> Mapping ---> STATUS Idoc

Can you please explain a bit, how the flow should be like?

Hope you need to send outbound 997 to the customer when you receive 850/846.

is my understand is correct?

if it's  right follow the below.

1) AS2 --->Dummy flow -->EDISeparater Receiver

in EDISeparater Receiver enable the 997

2) EDISeparater  --> Mapping ---> STATUS Idoc

keep the same

3. EDISeparater --> dummy --->AS2

in EDI Separate sender channel maintain as mentioned below.

note: in "interchange receiver    ID Qualifirer" parameter you need maintain the EDI partner  number which is maintained in 850/846's EDISeparater  sender (point#2 ) channel.

Hi Nidhi,

we can achieve through creating additional one ICO example

overall : 1st ICO for 850 : adapter sender according to Trading partnerto EDISep Receiver

             2nd ICO for 997 EDISep Sender for 997 to Adapter Receiver according to trading partner

Second ICO will be passthrough, no mapping is required.
