Cost distribution in HCM

Dear All,

We have different variable payments (like sales commission/shop) to employees. this commission amount is part of salary and process with salary.

every shop has one cost center.

Let say if an employee has total monthly earning of 50000 and commission amount is 6500 from shop 1 and 1000 from shop 2, then we want to charge these amounts to shop 1 and shop 2 cost centers respectively.

In cost distribution IT there is option to give % whereas i want to give amount.

Please guide .

Hi H,

Since you want to do Amount-based cost distribution, you will have to make use of IT0014 or 0015, based on your frequency.

Go to chosen Infotype, select the commission subtype, amount, and select the Cost Assignment button on the tool-bar, enter the cost center and save the record.

The cost assignments saved this way are stored in ASSHR / ASSOB and PDSNR tables..
