How to restrict order type by restricting distribution channel ?

Hello experts,

I am trying to restrict order type according to distribution channel in sap dbm. For example if distribution channel 10 is linked to 2 order types and distribution channel 30 is linked to 5 order types. Then by selecting distribution channel 10 , only 2 order types should appear in the order type drop down list.How to do this with the help of basis activity or by authorization objects.

There is a configuration of assign order type sales area in SAP DBM SPRO.

Thus while creating the order if incorrect distribution channel is used a error message appears that order type is not allowed for the said sales area.

But when mention about drop down, which screen drop down are you referring too?

Hi,

The order type list in the DBM Order create screen - Tcode - /DBM/ORDER01 can be controlled by authorization .

The order types which should be allowed for Create/Change /Display can be controlled by activity i.e 01 (Create), 02 (Change) and 03(Display) in field - ACTVT in authorization object - /DBM/ORDER

The restriction of order types list can be controlled by field - /DBM/AART in authorization object - /DBM/ORDER.
