Material not updating in MM17

Hi friends,

I am changing storage bin location Warehouse management 2 Tab through MM17.

I am getting following message and  i am unable to change BIN location.

I am able to do it through MM02.

Material is extended to all organizational levels.

Field selection group is also maintained

Material status is also there for all views

Please help.

the log actually says that it changed your material.

You have to see the information of the organization level.

In background it does the IDOC mimic with such mass changes

the first attempt is to create the material with basis data, since you have already basic data it cannot create it again.

the second attempt is to change the basis data, but you had not changed any field in that level, hence no changes made.

Then it tried to create the storage type level, since it is already present is cannot be maintained

Next attempt is to change the storage type level. and here you have the success message that the material was changed.
