SAP BO Explorer Date Format in CSV and Excel Download

Dear Experts,

I am facing a strange issue with CSV and/or Excel download of the Explorer view data.

The issue:

SAP BO Explorer View is based on the SAP BO Universe.

SAP BO Universe is Based on SAP BW DSO.

The Date format in SAP BW is standard date format (i.e input: yyyymmdd output: dd.mm.yyyy)

The date format in SAP BO Universe is custom and set to dd.mm.yyyy

The date format we are seeing in SAP BO Explorer view is dd.mm.yyyy

But, when we download the data of the Explorer view in either CSV and/or Excel we are getting a strange format yyyy-mm-ddTHH:00:00:0000.

The regional settings have been set to Germany and Use End user settings box checked while configuring.

Can you please advise me how to fix this issue, if it is SAP BO explorer related issue.

Hello,

There was an issue about date when exporting IS on Universe to Excel doc for Universe with Date type (issue about date formatting).

There is a fix for 4.1.5 patch 11 (and 4.1.x x=6, 7, 😎 and 4.2.

I don't know if it resolves your issue...
