SPM 3.0: Data Source Customization

Dear all,

We have implemented the extractors in our ECC system and running data loads to our SPM 3.0 system using Direct Update Sources.

Now, we need an additional field in our PO extractor and hence have used the custom field XSARC001C7 in PO extractor and mapped it to new field in Z_SA_DEPD-->Define Field Generation.

The read module is also generated and shows Generation Status as Successful. When I check the datasource in RSA2 or RSO2, the XSARC001C7 shows the updated mapping but is unchecked for 'Field can be transferred' and appears hidden.

The DataSource generation in Z_SA_DEPD also fails with message Z_SA_MD115.

Please help with the customization for already impemented SPM Direct Update datasources.

Dear all,

The issue is resolved.

After customization, the datasource need not re-generated if already present. Only the Read Module needs to be generated.

For the additional field being hidden, it needs to modified and unchecked in RSA6.
