Default Crystal Report layout based on Item Group

Hello!

I am wondering if it is possible to have Crystal reports print a certain layout based on either a property or a specific item group?  We have different layouts for different production orders and we would like to be able to just press print and based upon a property have Crystal reports print a specific layout.

I am not sure how or if this is even possible, but I thought I would start here.

I think if you have multiple RPT files to be printed  based upon the property or group. i think it is not possible..

But you can use One RPT file and using Suppress and subreports you can achieve multiple options...

Hi Ben,

Technically that is possible, by having multiple layouts from different templates compiled into one single (big) template, and having formulas tagged to related (or unrelated) group(s) for suppression.

Which CR are you using with what platform? By providing more details, the community can contribute better.
