How does PCA handles import with different clients after refresh

Hi All,

We have a scenario where our Source and Target have different clients. For example in source we have 200 & 210 client where as in Target  has client 100. May I know how PCA will handle this scenario. does it support or not?

Is there any specific procedure to schedule import job for this scenario.

Prashanth,

All the client independent configuration will exported and imported by PCA without any issues.

But client dependent stuff like user master will be skipped if a matching client is not present after the DB restore during import. In your case the user master export from 100 wont get imported in any clients during import.

You need to plan and adjust the clients before the PCA is started or also possible before import starts.

e.g  Match the target clients with source before refresh and drop the unwanted ones later on.
