Hello billy,

The screenshots cannot be enlarged, I cannot see the details

I mentioned in the Blog that it might be required to configure proxy settings in the SMP.

I also had encountered cases, where the "connection test" was not 100% reliable, as the ping to the destination failed, but the full URL, as invoked by Integration Gateway, was working properly

Kind Regards,

Carlos

Hi Carlos,

thanks for your reply, in what should we configure proxy settings in the SMP? could you please talk more detail?

and let me reupload the images.

     this is the metadata:

this is when call backend service using smp. the response body is from your custom script file. you will see the code is UNAUTHORIZED. if i return the message directly , it says 401 error.

this is the error log from smp:

the last image you may see. when i do the destination test , it says "Connection test failed - Unauthorized" . so basically , the destination is Unauthorized. I got your mean when you said the connect test is not 100% reliable. then i want to know what's your failed when you did the connection test?

Best Regards,

Billy

Billy, you're right, I've got the same error in my sp10 installation.
For testing, I've created a destination pointing to the serviceURL (instead to the host) and get the same error, although the URL works in the browser.
I have to check why this happens. I'm on vacation now, it might take a while, sorry...

Hi

I've checked that and it seems that in the meantime, the API has been protected

such that it can only be accessed by browser...

I'll have to rewrite the tutorial

Thanks for pointing that out, Billy

In the meantime, if you have a particular question, you can write me directly a msg

Kind Regards,

Carlos
