Invalid name:appropriate prefix not found; choose another name for another server

Hi,

I am using nwds 7.3, while doing changes in already existing DC I am not facing any issues. But when I create a new DC, and application is created it throws a warning nvalid name:appropriate prefix not found; choose another name for another server. I have checked th SLD the name is being reserved and exist there. Though I checkin the code but gave me same warning message and the transport got stuck in CMC.

Please provide a solution for this.

As you said, this is just a warning. I don't think this is the problem.

Do you mean CMS? Where exactly its stuck? Any protocols?

Hello Tobias,

Yes it is CMS, sorry it was typo error. Somehow I created a new application all together so apart from the namespace warning while creating the application and checkin the code I don't get any error or warning. The DC moved fine from one system to other , but why this warning?

Hello Pooja,

I can't tell you. I don't know anything about your DC, package structure or SLD. Maybe you have generated code inside your DC which has a package structure that is not preserved in SLD or something like that. Anyway I would not care so much as it won't hurt you at designe or runtime.
