Hi,

We are on SAP BPC10 NW.(SAPK-80010INCPMBPC).BW7.3(SAPKW73010).

Wanted know more about UJF_DOC,UJ0_CLUS_PARAM tables.

What data stored in these tables?

We wanted to delete older records from these tables.

Any house keeping programs available for these tables?

Thanks,

Manohar

And wanted to know one more thing. When we run export jobs, flat files will be generated.

The flat files which we upload in EPM Data Manager tab are stored in tables?Where they reside?

Thanks,

Manohar

Just look on UJFS transaction... you will find all files!

Hi Vadim,

Thank you very much.

We got a mail from DBA team as "node 0 is reaching to 80% threshold level."

We will be implementing - 1908533 - BPC File Service Cleanup Tool

195157 - Application log: Deletion of logs

But as per my understanding these notes implementation deletes the data from UJD_STATUS,BALDAT,BALHDR,BAL_INDX.

But we observed UJF_DOC,UJ0_CLUS_PARAM,

UJF_DOC_CLUSTERtables are very large.

Wanted to know the house keeping procedures for these tables.

And any use if we delete flat files which were generated by exports jobs and the files which we have uploaded.

Thanks,

Manohar

Once again, please use UJFS to browse BPC file storage... You will find here logs, flat files, reports etc...

Hi,

Got answer for UJF_DOC table. It holds all the files(Transformation files,Conversion files, files generated from exports jobs etc.)

@Vadim,

So you are suggesting to go to UJFS and delete entries one by one based on the time period.

I want to delete entries older than 1 year.

Thanks,

Manohar

UJFS is the interface to UJF_DOC table. But you have here a lot of different files. You have to understand what can be deleted and what - can't (I think you don't want to delete transformation files or script files )

Hi Vadim,

Yes,correct.I understood UJF_DOC table. If I delete files which we have uploaded in EPM  Data Manger tab which are not required now and files generated with exports jobs(which are not needed now),lot of space can be claimed.I am clear with this table.

Wanted to know about other tables.(UJ0_CLUS_PARAM,

UJF_DOC_CLUSTER)

Don't delete directly from tables!

Use:

UJF_FILE_SERVICE_DLT_DM_FILES

UJF_FILE_SERVICE_CLEAN_LOGS

and UJFS to delete manually!

Hi Vadim,

As I have mentioned

1908533 - BPC File Service Cleanup Tool

deals with UJF_FILE_SERVICE_DLT_DM_FILES

UJF_FILE_SERVICE_CLEAN_LOGS programs.

I don't think these programs are meant for

UJ0_CLUS_PARAM,UJF_DOC_CLUSTER tables.

Thanks,

Manohar
