WcmServiceScheduler Configuration Error: No CM system assigned to this task

Hi All,

I am getting following error in KM.

" com.sap.nw.wpc.wcm.scheduler.WcmServiceScheduler    Configuration Error:  No CM system assigned to this task ".

We had an SP upgrade and seems post upgrade CM system assignment is missing. One of the custom scheduler is not working properly as it references Wcmservicescheduler.

I understand that i need to assign CM to this scheduler task. Does it requires restart of SAP Portal server to reflect the changes?

The landscape is on Netweaver 7.00 stack.

WCMSchedularService is obsolete and can be disabled. Refer to note

1262166 FAQ: WCM Service Scheduler

to find out more about the service and the steps to disable it.

Can you refer the below two Notes and check if following that solves your issue or not ?

798633 - Tasks: Component Monitor shows startup failed.

949450 - Knowledge Management Component Monitor
