SSM PAS & SAP Netweaver PAS(primery application server)

Dear All,

I have a doubt, can we install SAP netweaver PAS in one server & SSM PAS in another server. If yes how can we create the LINKID etc.

Kindly give any hint.

Jituda,

Yes you can have NetWeaver on one machine and PAS on another no problem.

Remember that the LinkID is the link from PAS to the data sources that will be providing data to SSM.

You can also run PAS in a client server mode so you have a PAS on your desktop - you don't have to work directly on the server. See section 6.3 in the Installation Guide.
