I have a new check printer. The old printer was an HP. The new one is a Ricoh. I've installed the Ricoh drivers into SAP.
If I set the printer device type to POST2 the MICR font works, but tray selection does not.
If I set the printer device type to PCL tray selection works, but the MICR font does not.
POST2 is the device type of the old check printer
PCL is the recommended device type for the Ricoh
Any ideas on how to get the MICR and tray selection to work? Both device types are using the font family for MICR printing
I was able to resolve the issue by manipulating the tray assignment in the printer

Is anybody using a Ricoh printer to print checks in SAP?
