Cannot mark any product instance as relevant for diagnostics

Hi All Inside SAP Solution Manager 7.10 SP12, while using Full Configuration during Service Delivery/EWA for Business Objects BI platform 4.2 SP2 (Product Version: SBOP BI PLATFORM 4.2, SBOP EXPLORER 4.2). I’m getting the error 'Cannot mark any product instance as relevant for diagnostics' I tried to use manual assignment of Diagnostics option for relevant Product Instance like Central Management Service and yet received the same error.

I’ve consulted the following SAP Notes related to this and even applied strictly to the mentioned solutions but they are not working.

Rajat,

can you please go through entire SAP note:-

1937361 - "Product instance 'SBOP BI PLATFORM 4.1: <product Instance name>' has no Diagnostics templ...

There are few manual verification steps mentioned.

Thanks Anand. As of now SAP replied there is no solution for BOE 4.2 with Solman 7.1 and 7.2. Also they have confirmed there is no work around.

Bro.. There is a solution for this problem. I gone the

same problem on BO 4.2 SP03. If ur issue is not closed let me know I will share the further info. It's  a matter of missing product version which can be overcome by uploading the product version XML file
