20000+ WMMB* queues in SMQ2 EWM

Hi Everyone,

I am facing a issue in EWM.

There are more than 20000+ WMMB* queues stuck in EWM SMQ2.

All the queues are using FM: /SCWM/STOCK_BY_BATCH_CIF_CHG. System is generating integration model every 20 seconds.

Log says:

Variant  does not exist
Message no. DB612
Diagnosis
You selected variant for program RIMODGEN.
This variant does not exist.

More information: We are using Table CIFIMODGEN for generating and activating integration model.

Kindly help me out. Please let me know if any further information is reqd.

Hi All,

Any update please.

Finally I replicated this case in sandbox system.

Steps:

1. I de-registered all the inbound queues in EWM.

1. Changed one of batch characteristic. I changed SLED.

2. CIF queue got stuck in EWM SMQ2 (I de-registered all queues)

3. Process the stuck queue and so batch changed in EWM.

4.But then one more queue came in SMq2 .. WMMB(Batch No) ( Product No) (Is this normal ? )

Please let me know if anyone faced this ?

Hope !

I feel the tRFC is triggering from ECC to EWM. Due to target system failure the source system(ECC) is trying to execute multiple times(every 20 minutes) at the same time queue got added into EWM. This is strange and I could say there is some wrong queue config.

Hi Vadamalai.

I  checked the SLG1 logs with object CIF*. I could see there are many errors with:

Variant  does not exist

Message no. DB612
Diagnosis
You selected variant for program RIMODGEN.
This variant does not exist.

But i am not sure why there are 20000+ WMMB* queues in EWM.

Hi Prashant?

which status do these queues have in SMQ2?

- Is it SYSFAIL? If yes, which error message is shown?

- or is it READY? Then please check if the queu prefix are configured to be processed.

- or any other status?

Best regards

Hi Markus,

Thanks for your reply.

Currently status is READY, we have de registered these queue because there SMQ2 EWM was getting flooded with WMMB* queue. It was affecting system performance,SM12 lock entries were increasing.

Main issue is why system is generating integration model every 30 sec.
