Approval Process within ME

Hello experts,

I am wondering if there is any approval or confirm process in ME.  For example, is there any activity with the function with the approval function for the release of a new created Routing or BOM?

Hi Johnny,

BOM/Routing Maintenances have Status field. If it is set to New for example, such BOM/Routing will not be allowed for release. So, If you grant access to these Maintenances to admins only, anyone who needs to use those objects will have to go to the admins to change the status to Releasable.

Does this look like an approval process?

Hi Sergiy,

Is there any way to separate the statuses into different roles?  For example, the normal user can only create the routing while only the admins to change the status to Releasable?
