SuccessFactors issue with Time off Data upload in Employee Central

Hi Al,

Can i please request your help in resolving the following issue, In One of our clients we have just uploaded Time off data in Employee central (Successfactors) , following is our scenario  -

1. Time Types 9999 have been configured with a certain posting rules in an order having time account types i.e 1 & 2

2. Time Accounts 1 & 2 were linked to time accounts having accrual balances as -

Time Account 1 = 10 days

Time Account 2 = 5 Days

3. Now, when we upload an absence via Time type 9999, using Import/export functionality postings are made as per posting rule defined in the time type 9999 (Point 1 & 2 above)

i.e --> Time Type 9999, Deduction of 12 days , new balances in Time accounts are

Time Account 1 = 0 days

Time Account 2 = 3 Days

4. But we have recently realized that our posting rules were configured incorrectly for time type 9999 and it should be in this order

5. We can change the configuration as needed, but this will be effective only for new time off requested by Time type 9999 and we need to clear existing data which have been posted in incorrect time accounts.

Actually it should be

i.e --> Time Type 9999, Deduction of 12 days , new balances in Time accounts should

Time Account 2 = 0 Days

Time Account 1 = 3 days

Initially i thought that best solution could be to delete Time Type 9999 uploaded in the system and this will reconstruct Time Account postings 1 & 2. But looks like Object employee time does not support operation DELETE.

Can i please request if you can suggest best way to clean the data in this scenario.

Just as an FYI SAP do not recommend to upload Time Account Details of type Accrual or Employee Time. You should use the calendar runs for accrual creation. See SAP Note 2309378 for more details.

Did you try to reload them with a status of CANCELLED first and reload them?
