Assignment of lot with SAP EH&S/DG

Dear all,

Could it be possible to assign lot (material & lot) in place of material within SAP EH&S/DG ?

What will be the side effects with DG Master record filling and within integration in SAP SD by foing this ?

Is it a way to assume this ?
