Hi,
We are able to configure SAP system to check in documents to Open text repository. All the documents are going to 1 folder based on defined default path.
We were looking for options to send documents to different folders. Like EAM, MM and process based like SOPs, Manufacturer manuals etc.
Could anybody who has come across such scenario and successfully executed, please explain how to achieve it.
Thanks,
N.Nagaraju
Hi Nagaraju,
You can created different repositories and name them according to your requirement.
For eg: one repository to store only MM document
Second repository to store SRM or EWM data etc.
This way you can differentiate the document being stored in Open text Archive server.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply, We tried as you suggested.
We have defined new content repository, assigned to new profile. Then we deleted the default content repository, then while creating document info record now 2 content repositories are available. But not able to check in. system is giving error message, not able to chek-in. This may be due to the default path deletion. We can't define 2 defaults.
If you can suggest the steps to be performed that would be great help.
Thanks,
N.Nagaraju
Hi,
The following are the photos of content repository and other details. The last photo is where we defined "PC as external source
The lase photo is where "Define data carrier type "server, front end" we defined the PC and the default server path. Latter when we defined 2 repositories we deleted assuming that due to this config the files are not checking in to required repository.
Hi,
We are using CV01N t code to create document info record.
1. Provide description for doc info record
2. Attaching document, select "create Original"
As shown below
3. Select "check in original" from bottom icons
from right 3rd icon
4. Error message while saving
Please advice how to go about it.
Thanks,
N.Nagaraju
Hi,
I agree with your statement. As I mentioned earlier in the post we deleted the configuration. That's all about the same.
Now we don't have default data carrier. Still we are not able to get the documents checked in as desired in different storage categories. System is picking up only the default one.
Please advice.
Thanks,
N.Nagaraju
