MDG - Vendor number range issue

Hi,

Though I have setup BP and vendor number range similar to vendor number range, the vendor number is not generating based on the vendor group in UI front end. The vendor number should be generated from ECC ( backend) but its not the case. Can someone please let me know if there any custom code which I needs to place to achieve the same.

Have you completed the CVI configuration?

Customization Node:

Master Data Governance->Master Data Governance for Supplier ->Integration with Vendor Master in ERP ->Setup Customer Vendor Integration for MDG for Supplier->

• Set BP Role Category for Direction BP to Vendor
• Set BP Role for Direction Vendor to BP
• Define Number Assignment for Direction BP to Vendor
• Define Number Assignment for Direction Vendor to BP

CVI configuration is in place and verified the same. Please find the below screenshot and let me know in case of any issue with setup.

Let me know in case of any additional logic needs to be written to populate vendor number in initial UI screen.

Just check if in Vendor Number range in Vendor Master is setup as external or not.

Vendor master is setup as external.

QQ, Do we need to add additional logic ( BADI/enhancement logic ) required to populate this vendor number in UI irrespective of this setup ?
