SAP PM - Confirmation Query

Dear SAP PM Gurus,

need ur expertise for the below issue.

I have a WO which has 2 operations.

When i do final confirmation for one of the operations - the order status changes to CNF eventhough the other operation is not confirmed with any hours in it.

Both the operations are using PM01 control key.

Please advise....

Hello Mudassar,

Please check and provide screenshot for PM01 control key config. (spro --> Plant Maintenance --> Maintenance and service processing --> Maintenance and Service Orders  --> Functions and settings for order type --> Control Keys --> Maintain Control Keys).

If confirmation tab in it is blank (Confirmation possible but not necessary), change it to 2 (Confirmation required) and then check in your system. Query should be resolved.

I changed that and it works - but

can i use Pm04 instead without changing the existing settings.

What are the difference for Pm01 and Pm04 ?

Hello Mudassar,

I am not aware about PM04 control key in your system. Also, please note that change of control key can affect many functions. It cannot be changed like this. Hence, I will not comment on it.

I hope the reason for behaviour specified in your query is addressed. If no more doubts regarding it, you can close the thread.
