Hi experts,
we are trying to calculate the mode of a key figures, that is the value that appears most often in a set of data.
In excel is present the function "MODE", returning the most frequently occurring value.
How can we obtain a similar result in BEx query on BW, version 7.3?
Thanks a lot in advance
Hi,
Can you show the layout of your report?
How about adding a COUNTER on your object then filter it with the HIGHEST COUNTER?

Loed

Hi Loed,
I've tried to add a counter and after i've add a condition TOP 1.
The condition works well when i add in drill the field where i've made condition:
But when i take off field Price (Char) form drill, price counter is still right (with exception aggregation on maximum) but price is not filtered by condition.
Can you explain me "filter it with the HIGHEST COUNTER"?
Thanks a lot,
Dario
Hi Loed,
thanks a lot, the mode is working fine now.
There is a way to insert in the same layout some key figures not filtered by condition TOP 1?
I've tried with constant selection on the same PRICE (CHAR), but it's not working properly.
I think there is no way, for the presence of condition, but i try to ask.
Thanks,
Dario
