Mismatch between the SAP Portal timesheet and the backend data in 2006 Infotype

Hi Everyone,

We have an issue where a user has entered their tiemsheet data directly in the backend HR system instead of SAP Portal timesheet due to some reason. But now, he doesnt see that same values on the Portal, neither can he edit the existing entries from the Portal nor delete the rows in Portal time sheet.

Even after deleting the records for those dates in the HR backend, they still appear as some incorrect values on the Portal time sheet and the same situation continues where neither can he edit the existing entries from the Portal nor delete the rows in Portal time sheet.

Can someone suggest what could be the issue here?

First of all time sheet details are related to IT 2011(Time Events) which is TEVEN table, not IT 2006 (Quota Details).

As per your explanation, It's looks like your using clock-in/out corrections application where employee is able to do edit/delete etc.

What exact issue your facing place the screen shots for more clear of the issue.

timesheet is not 2011!

Please can you clarify which table or infotype he entered the detaols
Time sheet as such updates first CATDB and then 2001 or 2002 or 2010, depending upon attributes

so clearly explain tables and infotypes effected,

Please find all the information here.

The user usually tries to enter data through Portal but this time he has asked some super user to update on his behalf into the back end HR system directly using CAT2 for two dates in March 2016. This was done by the user as through Portal he has faced some issue where he was not able to edit the incorrect entries that was already entered.

Now, the information entered in CAT2 appears in CATSDB and 2002 Info type. But this data is different from the data appearing on the portal for these two dates.

The user is neither able to see the correct values on the Portal nor able to delete the incorrect entries in the Portal.

After reading a couple of threads, we thought, deleting the entries that were entered in the back end

in Info type 2002, could help in clearing the incorrect entries in portal also. Then, we planned to ask the user to enter the correct time details from the portal but, deleting those details in back end 2002 IT didn't help in clearing the incorrect entries. User is still not able to delete or edit info from portal.

Can you please suggest more

it cant be portal reads CATSDB data into portal, so how can be different for these dates!

Please check in Portal and CATSDB for this date, what data is there

you need to delete or correct entries in CAT2 and not in 2002, as thats the origin and CATS transfer to HR will fix 2002 eventually ie replace it with correct data

So solution, change again in CAT2 if you can

We corrected the entries in CATS2 and that resolved all the issues.
