NWBC 5.0 - PL 7- Error During Mass printing.

Hi Experts,

We use NWBC for SAP plant maintenance. Our current process require us to mass print PM orders from NWBC. We  have been using a standard Transaction code in SAP (IW39) which is easy to use and mass print - when compared to the existing web applications on offer. We were earlier in NWBC 4.0 PL 10, and users were able to mass print without any issues. After the upgrade to NWBC 5.0  - patch level 7, we are facing issues.

We get the error - Maximum number of session reached and the print fails. Users are having to go to SP02 and reprint these orders.

Additional new tabs are getting created in NWBC when the system is trying to print these.

Hello,

According to SAP Note 128105 - Front-end printing (collective note), mass printing is not supported on fronted:

"Since front-end printing uses the local GUI connection, it is generally unsuitable for the output of large or particularly time-critical documents."

You may also want to check SAP Note 10758 - SAPSprint cannot be reached. What can be done?:

"We urgently recommend that you operate these boxes only from the host spool, as this has more time and resources available. Therefore, set the output device in SPAD with access method 'L' or 'C'"
