Group Condition key Formula implementaion in CRM IPC

Hello All,

We need to implement a Group condition key formula in CRM IPC Java routine. I want to understand the "return" parameter of this setGroupKey method. What is the value we are returning from this Group Condition key Formula?

In ECC, the Group Condition key has code populating couple of fields(promotion and pack3) into the XVAKEY. So, in the Java IPC Group key formula, will it make sense to return these two fields appended together?

So, understanding the return parameter would help us. Please share some knowledge on this topic if someone have worked on this. Please let me know if I have posted in the correct Community(was think to post in Web Channel).
