Maybe the answer to this question will tell me what I need to know in this design attempt:
Is BusinessObjects unable to allow inserts of blank rows for calculating values such as I did in the Excel example in the screenshot? Are we limited to tabular results as opposed to being able to place elements where we wish? For example, I have the group Sales which consists of dozens of individual records. Can I not just place this group somewhere on an empty report, place the group COGS relative to it, and then add a formula below them that calculates the difference?
