how to transport request?

hi,

go to se09.

click on your request number.

expand the node.

place the cursor on the task and press F9.

this will first relaease all the tasks

after that place cursor on the main node and press F9 this will release the request entirely.

Use transaction SE09 or SE10 to release the transport task and request.

Sometimes periodically jobs (every 10 minutes) are defined to import the transport requests into the target system,

but you can also do it yourself by using transaction STMS.

But this is the work for the BASIS guys.

Hi,

To transport request go with se09->select request type and modifiable->display.

then select the task and go with truck symbol icon,then select request and selelct truck icon.

then goto stms tc and import the same there

Transport requests are created when u create a report.

These r under the packages used while creating a report.

hi,

once the transport request is released automatically the cofiles and data files are generated which is used to migrate to diff system.

hi...

This is the process for crate transport request..

After creating any IMG settings, programme, authorisations ... there is a truck symbol in the bar. click on it . then it will ask for mass transport of roles. then click execute. then put a tick mark on information. Then select the objects that are using to be used when transporting the role or any settings. Then automatically the last request number will be display on prompt for customizing request . If you want to keep it click on tick or if you want to create a new one pls select own request or you can include objects of this type in customizing request only. Then write some description on short description then select the project name then create . It will now see a new reuest number for your object which are going to be transport .
