Alert Configured - Mail not coming to Mailbox

Hi Experts,

I configured the Alerts in Dev system using the blog mentioned below -

Michal's PI tips: Component-Based Message Alerting

Please let me know why I am not getting any mails when this is fine.

Please suggest.

Closing the thread.as the main issue is resolved.

For the delay issue, I will open new thread in case unable to resolve it myself.

Hi Dimitri,

After checking everything, I created a new job with the same configuration only I changed the AggregateAlerts - True.

From then, both the jobs are running without any errors. And suddenly 139 alerts triggered in the first job for which I asked the above query. Also, I got the mails as expected.

After analysis, I deleted the new created job and kept the old one. Now, it is working fine but not working as expected time intervals(2 min).

Job is running after 2 min, but the alert is generated in 4th or 5th occurrence of the running job. Not sure why?

Please let me know your views on this.

Do you have the job details available?

Also, can you show the alert rule you created?

Based on your screenshots, I cannot pin point the problem or root cause.

Can you very the logs and see if message pop up explaining the delay?

Are you sure the process is running every 2 minutes?

Hi All,

I deleted the job and created a new one. Now, I am getting the error as mentioned below -

javax.mail.SendFailedException: Invalid Addresses;

  nested exception is:

com.sun.mail.smtp.SMTPAddressFailedException: 553 Relaying blocked at this site.

But, the interfaces involving email interfaces are working perfectly fine.

Please suggest, what could be wrong here.

check your SMTP settings and make sure the network/firewall is configured properly

Hi,

I see that 0 alerts were processed. Are you sure the alert was raised?

Please check your configuration, trigger an error and make sure the alert is raised.

Error is coming in the system, but still 0 alerts are processed. Not sure if I missed some settings.
