Logic behind /3xx and /6xx WT calculations

Could you please explain me how the calculation happens in SAP for /3xx and /6xx series Wagetypes? is it through any function module or in any table?

Hi Mohammed,

Can you please specify the country you are running payroll for? This may be different from country to country... But generaly speaking, payroll schema execute functions that calculates "/3xx" wage types based on other accumulators "/1xx".

Hi Mohammed,

If I am not mistaken, this is done through BSI (external tax calculation) with the help of the processing classes 67 to 71.

How can I find what all it is considering to calculated /6xx? does it calculate in SAP and goes to BSI or /1XX is sent to BSI and for calculating /3xx and /6xx

Hi Mohammed,

I'll correct my answer for /1xx because in payroll USA, they don't use them for tax calculation, Everything is done in BSI based on the Processing class 67 to 71 and the employee Tax authorities (federal, state, local...

For reference, I have seen a book on SAP press: "Practical SAP US Payroll".
