auto assignment of value in chracteristic- o25c

we have added automatic value asignment function in O25C tcode for pppi_batch std character in process order.

after releasing the order, observed that the batch number is not populated correctly as in process order. is there any way to check manually whether the fm is working properly or not.value assignment function: COAV_BATCH, function mentioned as COC1_PPPI_CHAR_VALUES.

please advise how to verify manually.

Do you have an issue with Header material batch creation or batch determination of the components?

'Goods Recpt' tab  to check the batch in case of PPPI_BATCH.

Hello, the requirement is to populate the batch number generated in goods receipt tab of the order in PPPI_BATCH char which is a characteristic in one of the process instruction category automatically. can you advise what need to be maintained to populate this value automatically in characteristic so that this value can be send to its destination. is ther any fm need to maintain some where? is there any code need to maintained ? please advise.

For characteristic PPPI_BATCH you need to use valuation function COAV_BATCH for automatic value assignment.
