Enterprise auth keeps overriding secSAPR3 auth regardless of custom config in BOE

Hi, this is a Business Objects 4.1 question;

I am currently experiencing an issue where our WEBI's are refusing to give the option of signing on using secSAPR3 auth method.

The config file in the folder:

"c:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\tomcat\webapps\BOE\WEB-INF\config\custom"

BILaunchPad.properties:

authentication.visible=true

authentication.default=secSAPR3

logontoken.enabled=true

cms.default=SRSM070A:6405

cms.visible=true

OpenDocument.properties:

authentication.visible=true

authentication.default=secSAPR3

logontoken.enabled=true

cms.default=SRSM070A:6405

cms.visible=true

However, when opening a WEBI, it requests Enterprise logon details and refuses to accept secSAPR3 credentials.

We need to be able to log on using secSAPR3 authentication details.

I have changed the configs and restarted the server completely to ensure everything starts up fresh.

2 Screenshots attached of what the logon screen looks like when accessing a WEBI.

Please assist.

Hi Juandre,

Did you check the default authentication in "*webapps\BOE\WEB-INF\config\default"?  I know best practise dictates to not modify the default settings but you may want to make sure.

Do your LaunchPad also default to SAP authentication?

Maybe check out the settings for the BILaunchPad in "*tomcat\webapps\BOE\WEB-INF\config\default or custom"

Look for:

logontoken.enabled

authentication.default

authentication.visible
