Standard PM Work Order

Hi Gurus;

Do you recommend to use the standard PM Order Type or use them only as a reference and create new ones?

Hi Marcial

It depends. Some prefer to keep the standard orders and "update" the configuration on them. Some not!

My personal preference is creating my own set of order types (ZXXX) and remove the standard/deafults ones. (Whenever you need the standard order types for reference, you can always "bring them back" from client 000.

I don´t have a special requirement, but aconsultant recommended me not to use SAP standard work order, but to create a new one based on this standard instead.

I opened this discussion to know what most gurus recommend.

Could you please ask that consultant, why not to used the standard SAP order type?

As I know there would not be any issue if we use the standard SAP order type.

Do you have any business requirement to create custom PM Order Type?

It is always better to use the standard order type if you don't have any specific business requirement.
