Not able to create ODS View - System Hangs

Hi Friends,

I am trying to create an ODS View based on "Virtual table via HANA Smart Data Access" but as soon as I select this option, system gets hang. I have tried with other type like BW, Database Table or View, it is working fine for them. This issue is coming only with HANA SDA.

Please throw some lights.

Hi Cindy,

I thing my HANA database revision number is not the latest one in ECC as well as in BW. Due to this reason, we are facing many small issues like this, we are planning a database revision update process very soon. I will update this discussion once I test the scenario again and confirm the results.

HI,

from BW 7.4 SP9 we are able to create the open ODS view through eclipse modeling.

but not in the GUI space.

open the BW modeling tool create the OPEN ODS view using smart data access.

check the open ods view in BW side.
