Regarding SAP and MS Sharepoint Integration with MS DUET

Hello Experts,

Good Day!!

We are trying to integrate SAP with MS Sharepoint using MS Duet.

We have procured MS DUET 2.0 license and our Sharepoint system is in version 2013.

We also have our SAP system in version Netweaver 7.4, ECC 6.0 EHP7.

We would like to know what would be the approach to make this integration possible. From various blogs we came to know, Sharepoint has the capability to consume the oData services from the Gateway system.

Is that alone is enough to make the integation or we need MS Duet for this as well.

Any clarity on this area is highly appreciated.

Hi Vivek,

You can definitely build your own integration solution on Gateway without leveraging Duet Enterprise. You still have to generate all the oData services that SharePoint would consume, and will have more custom development, but it is possible.
