Hi everyone,

I was able to resolve the error reading : SAP note 1054467

What i did:

I added this Instance "rdisp/tolerate_loopback_addr = 1" in the last lineof Instance Profile file (<SID>DVEBMGS00_<hostname>).

      Path of file: C:\usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\profile

Thank You everyone for help!

Hi Jamil.

Stop the installation, Just do the full system restart and then try again in the same phase.

Hi Sriram,

Thank you for responding to my post. I have tried that around 5-6 times doesn't help, it gives the same error.

Hi,

The main problem is here:

*** DP_FATAL_ERROR => DpMsAttach: local hostname 'bassam' is resolved to loopback address (cf. SAP note 1054467 for details)

You can check the details from the SAP note mentioned.

To resolve this maintain your hosts file and delete/comment entries for 127.0.0.1 localhost.

After that run ipconfig /flushdns (if you are using DNS) and restart your OS.

Hi Carroll,

It requires a market place password I don't have one and I don't seem to find this document on the internet can you help me out with the document and send me on my email address(bassamjamil3@gmail.com) or provide me with some link.

I am not a basis guy can you please elaborate on the steps how do I do this. I have commented out the row in host file and tried again it gives the same error.
