SUM1.0 SP16 Patch 10 and/or 11 won't start.

Hello Experts,

I'm trying to update the MDM Catalog UI. I tried using SUM1.0 SP16 Patch 10 and 11 but whenever i call "http://<Hostname>:4239" it tells me SUM is no longer available for standalone. So from what I've read I have to call the SL Common UI since SP13/14(!?).

So when i call this URL:

"http://<Hostname>:1128/lmsl/sumjava/<SID>/index.html"

I get an XML Error and the SL Common UI won't start. I've tried IE, FF, Chrome; none of them works.

XML-Verarbeitungsfehler: Kein Element gefunden (English: XML-Processingerror: no element found)

Adresse: http://<Hostname>:1128/lmsl/sumjava/<SID>/index.html

Does anyone have any ideas?

You need to start SUM according to the GUIDE as following:

cd /usr/sap/<SID>/SUM

./STARTUP confighostagent <SID>

Then your URL will work.
