I have a report that contains a sub report that works correctly.
I have a second report that I want to use exactly the same sub report from the first report.
When i run the main report the sub report is blank
I have added the parameter field to the sub report and the when I run the main report I can now see the parameter fields so it is passing data.
However when i add the field that the parameter should populate it is NULL
Im really stuck as to why.
I can send the reports over to someone by email if they want to take a look.
Hi Sastry
Did you manage to take a look at the reports that I emailed to you yet ?

Hi Allan,
I see that you are mapping Main report fields to sub report parameters. When you have same parameters in both main and sub report, try to link with Main report parameters with sub report parameters.
Also you can send the report to sastrydsvs(at)gmail
Thanks,
Sastry

Is the other sub report working fine?

Can you check if parameters getting passed through main report needs Trim or Uppercase and Lowercase if so we can apply Trim() and Case related functions.
Also make sure you link the sub reports properly as I see option Select data in sub report based on Grayed out.
Please compare that option with your working sub report.
Regards
Niraj
