Hi Experts,
I am currently working with Campaigns in CRM Marketing.
We have an issue where when you have reserved funds in a campaign and there is a target group assigned to the campaign. If you delete the target group, this sets the reserved funds for the campaign to zero. i.e Once a target group has been deleted from a campaign, all funds reserved in that campaign are unreserved and go to Available.
Has anyone encountered a similar issue and how has this been resolved?
Thank you.
Hi Monde,
Check if note 1974922 can be implenented in your system
Thanks

Hello,
please refer to the following document, that may contain useful information for the campaign funds integration process:
I'm not aware of any dependencies of the targat group group used in the campaign and the fund usage from the campaigns.
Can you please provide information about the following:
This information may give an idea about the root cause.

Johannes
Hi Johannes,
I am also not aware of any dependencies of the target group used in the campaign and the fund usage from the campaigns.
Here is the information that you requested, I replicated the scenario in our QA system:
Campaign - Planned
Fund Usage - Released
Campaign - Planned
Fund Usage - Released
Before: R10 000
After : R0.00 - This is where the issue is
Before deletion:
Reserved: R10000
Remaining Reserved: R1000
Status: Released
After deletion:
Reserved: R10000
Remaining Reserved: R1000
Status: Released
Although fund usage still reflects the R10000 as reserved, you get an insufficient fund when you have to use the campaign funds.
Regards,
Monde
Hello,
since the underlying key figure is zeroed out, the fund posting should be adjusted accordingly. That means a reverse posting should be generated reversing the previously reserved amount.
The question is why the key figure is zeroed out - is the target group somehow defined as an attribute in BPS planning? What if a second target group is added to the campaign - does this influence planning somehow?
regards,
Johannes
