Fiscal period (13 to 12) in SAP BW IP

Hi,

       I want to plan data in 13 periods but i want to update that data into 12 periods in ECC is it possible in SAP BW IP. Thanks in advance

Hi Balaji,

the question is not clear. The used fiscal year variant defines how many periods exist in a fiscal year. So you have to explain whether in BW-IP (i.e. BW) and in ECC the same fiscal year variants are used. Another question is whether you copy the data or whether you directly plan on ECC tables.

Hi Gregor,

  The Data coming from ECC to BW is based on 12 periods but my client want that 12 period into 13 period (e.g;1 period= 28 days) for planning in Analyzer .

After planning that 13 periods has to covert into 12 periods while doing retraction (BW to ECC).
