Initial Data Transfer in FDM_COLL_SEND01

Hi .

We have collection management in FSCM activated.

Job has been scheduled for FDM_COLL_SEND01 to send data (Initial and Periodic in 2 variants). My questions is:

• Do we need to schedule the job to run Initial data transfer or do we only need to run initial data transfer whenever there is new company setup?

The initial transfer for a company code can only occur once.

I would suggest this is run manually rather than scheduled.

After that you can either move over changes, or re-send the full data set

Hi,

Whenever there is a new company code being setup in SPRO (Activate Distribution per Company Code), then only I will need to manually run the FDM_COLL_SEND_ITEMS (Initial Data Transfer)?

If I do not schedule Initial Data transfer and only schedule Periodic Data Transfer, will the new company code data transfer to the worklist by using Periodic Data Transfer?

No - if the company code has not had an initial transfer - it will not be picked up in the periodic run
