Using sap_bluecrystal theme in SAP GUI for HTML

Good day

I need some help with sap_bluecrystal.

We are on Integrated ITS 7.40 and Kernel 742 path 413.

It is not working. changed the following

~THEME	sap_bluecrystal
~WEBGUI_NEW_DESIGN	1

check also if you have note 1967776 - ITS: ~theme is ignored in URL

Hi Deon,

As Oisín told you, ~webgui_new_design is not needed. It is only valid for Netweaver 7.00 and 7.01, with kernel 7.20, 7.21 or 7.22. As of Netweaver 7.02, the new design is the standard.

You can try appending the URL with &sap-theme=sap_bluecrystal. I just tested in my test system (SAP_BASIS 7.40, with kernel 7.42 pl 412) and it works, i.e. the theme used is bluecrystal.

from screenshot this is a bigger issue than just setting the theme parameter.

If the parameter is removed  - I presume you still get this HTTP 500 message?

Can the WebServer itself be reached?

The page displays again, but in the default theme.

in the WEBGUI 'GUI Configuration'

and then testing the WEBGUI service again.

I added all the parameters back, that we use.

I did not add the ~no_logon_userexit 1

The transaction displays again via the portal, but still in the default theme.

the reason I suggested adding:  ~no_logon_userexit 1

is becuase of this dump:RABAX _STATE termination due to the SYSTEM_EXIT

what is the 740 SAP_BASIS that you are using?

You should not need to set: ~WEBGUI_NEW_DESIGN

What Browser are you using?

Have you tried calling: http://host:port/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui?sap-theme=sap_bluecrystal

I removed all SICF param and added the following: ~sap-theme  sap_bluecrystal

I get the following result on the rendered webpage:
