Dear experts, I have one question,,, we know there are two type of DB2 Database driver, XDN and XDA. How to find which Database driver we are using currently ? Regards, Asad
Hi Asad,
there is SAP Note 1257635 DB4: DBSL Direct Drive for DB2 for IBM i (DB2/400)
describing everything in detail.
To make it short: If you have XDN configured you should find the profile entry
dbs/db4/driver_type = DBSLDirectDrive or dbs/db4/driver_type = XDN in your profiles (instanz-, start- or default profile)
XDN would also produce jobs in the subsystem QUSRWRK where the jobname begins with XDN<SID>.
Best regards,
Joachim
